Mac Mic Group has strengthened its Strategic Land Division with a new appointment to support the company’s growth in south east England.
Kari Burton has joined Mac Mic Group as Senior Planning Manager and is based in the company’s London office at Paddington Basin.
Kari, who is a Chartered Surveyor MRICS and Chartered Town Planner MRTPI joins Mac Mic Group from strategic land developer Lands Improvement Holdings where she was a Planning Manager.
Now Kari will have responsibility for managing Mac Mic Group’s South East development sites through the planning system from promotion stage to a planning approval for the housebuilder market. She will also play a key role in advising the land team on acquiring new strategic land sites.
Kari, who originally hails from Surrey, said

I am excited about the prospect of achieving successful planning approvals for the business by masterplanning well considered sustainable places where people aspire to live and work”.

Kari has bolstered a team led by Ken Hopkins, Head of Strategic Land, and she will report to Conor Roberts, Regional Manager -South East, who is spearheading the company’s activity in the region.
